I have had the pleasure of working with Henderson Hutter wealth planning advisors on their photography marketing content since 2017. I would like to share our experience so that it may help the next person looking to level up their marketing and brand photography experience.
When first approached in 2017 by Christine and the team, their goal was to create relaxed and professional headshots that were unique to their industry. Before any proposals were sent, we had conversations to what they were looking for, how many team members they had, their exact shot list, and even down to what colors and clothes there were wearing. All of these conversations were had via email and on the phone to get a better idea of their visual branding goals as a business.
I don’t often like to quote any rates before hearing out my potential client when it comes to a large team and specific branding requirements. Once you start talking about headshot ideas, group and team headshots, and where you want to shoot – you get so many more ideas and you hone down on the exact shotlist. This allows me to deliver a quote that is on the same level with their expectations of quality and turnaround.
The 2017 shoot was so successful, we have repeated that same formula twice in the past, and I wanted to share with you our recent photoshoot for their new website which we shot in October of 2022. I will also share how they integrated the images into their website to make a stunning but easy to use site.
When creating headshots and business team shoots I like to use the clients office as much as possible. I do this to respect their time as well as be able to create unique vignettes to showcase their office, team, and creative lighting perspectives. I like to propose we do some ‘working shots’ to show them working with each other, or bring in a friend/model or two to show how they interact with their clients.
New Orleans business headshots don’t need to be just that. Everyone’s business has a personal story that we can tell through creative and brand driven photographer and video – we just need to start the conversation…
