New Orleans Video and Branding

It’s no secret that video content has been on the rise and continues to be how people seek to engage and learn; short form video entertainment has skyrocketed in the last few years through TikTok and Fleets, and long form content like vlogs, gaming, and tutorials have also seen an increase in popularity. Adding video to your branding content can tell your story in a way that is more dynamic and engaging.

I have really enjoyed picking up some new video storytelling cameras along the way and I am eager to show you what I have been working on! I mainly have been shooting with my Sony A7r4, but I often augment video production with my DJI Pocket 2 and the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone. There are so many ways to tell a story, and if you are just getting into video for your business, there is so much to learn.

INVEST IN VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES

For a small business, the thought of investing in professional video services probably seems pretty daunting, but the amount of reach you’ll get is well worth it. For example, Youtube is the second most popular social media platform, and 79% of internet users say they have a Youtube account. If you’re advertising through social media and haven’t added Youtube to your list then you’re missing out on a large market. All videos I do for clients like CR Coffee, Mutombo Coffee, and Leslie Hooper, can be exported to web, social, and especially Youtube!

VIDEO SEARCH OPTIMIZATION

While you’re at it, consider making an account dedicated to your brand or product. In 2019, 62% of businesses reported using Youtube to post video content, but according to a 2020 study by Brandwatch, only 9% of small businesses used Youtube to promote their brands. If you’re a small business trying to stand out in the crowd, then Youtube is definitely the place for you. Plus, in 2020, 70% of viewers bought from a brand after seeing it on Youtube. Don’t you think with mobile use up due to the pandemic, people are watching more video? Mmmmm probably!

CONNECT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY

Furthermore, Youtube is the second most popular search engine, surpassed only by Google, and it reaches more US mobile viewers than any TV network. Unsurprisingly, more potential customers/clients are using video search to connect with local businesses and brands – are YOU using video in your marketing and social media?
