Being a part of a Creative Team in Branding Events

Large scale branding events are powerful opportunities for companies to define their identity, engage with clients and customers, and showcase their products or services in a meaningful way. The NFL Super Bowl has to be the ultimate branding event every year in the United States and I am so grateful for the amount of quality work I got over this one week span in New Orleans. I was able to create and post keyword rich blog posts and social media content starting in November of 2024 to ensure I was ahead on search.

Ad agencies and creative agencies get paid A LOT to create unique experiences for their clients to be showcased when all eyes are on the Super Bowl. It is so crucial to have the post-event assets to not only tell their clients story, but to ensure they (and me…) continue to get work. So it goes without saying that the most vital components of any branding event is how the event is documented, and that is where conference photography and New Orleans video production come into play. Communication between myself and the agency is so important.

The Role of Creative Teams in Branding Events

Creative teams are the driving force behind the visuals and overall aesthetic of any branding event. This includes professionals like designers, stylists, marketers, and, of course, photographers and videographers. These experts work together to create an experience that reflects their client’s brand core values while also ensuring that every image and video is perfectly aligned with the event’s goals.

So here’s where I come in. The questions I ask in those first emails are crucial to keeping their attention and the conversation moving forward. At any given time I am having this same conversation with multiple agencies vying for work on the same days. It’s important to be clear in my messaging while moving the emails as close to closing the deal as possible without rushing anyone.\

Collaboration and especially listening is essential because each member of the creative team has unique expertise and I am just one person with dual roles. For example, while a designer will focus on creating the event space’s visual appeal, the photographer will ensure that every key moment is captured from the best angles (and I need to speak that language) Similarly, a videographer will help produce video content that conveys your brand’s message in a dynamic and engaging way. By being able to seamlessly navigate the language of both mediums I am able to secure both photo and video jobs while building out my teams.

Leveraging New Orleans Video for Impactful Storytelling. AKA being local.

In today’s often homogenized digital world, video is king. But creative local video is the puppet master to that king. It’s one of the most powerful ways to tell a story and make an impact, but when you have so many out of town voices about to descend on your city – you have to remain local. Be yourself, authentic, and offer why you are different. I was able to leverage my experience in each location my potential client wanted to use by offering unsolicited ideas and suggestions based on my local experience. It never hurts.

Whether it’s for live streaming, post-event recaps, or promotional videos, New Orleans video production adds a dynamic element to any branding event. High-quality event video can highlight your brand’s personality, showcase the excitement of the event, and deliver key messages to a wider audience.

So many companies bring their own crew and that’s fine if they are on a budget, or have a very streamlined creative workflow. But working with an experienced New Orleans videographer can make all the difference. When working with Dover and Wal-Mart I was able to suggest drone shots from an event since it was out of the FAA No Fly Zone near the Superdome. Whether it’s drone shots of the event venue or close-ups of speakers engaging with the audience, a skilled videographer will find creative ways to convey the essence of your event and brand.

Whether you’re planning a conference, seminar, or networking event, the collaboration between photographers, videographers, and designers will elevate the experience for your client or your audience. By capturing every moment with high-quality conference photography and New Orleans video production, you’ll have valuable content that can be used to continue telling your brand’s story long after the event concludes.

Remember, a successful branding event doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of careful planning, coordination, and collaboration with a talented creative team that understands your mission.
